Can I run Adgator on a Wordpress.com blog?

Please note that our ad code is not compatible on the wordpress.com platform. If you run a blog, for example, at  http://myblog.wordpress.com rather than having your own version of Wordpress on your own server then we are unable to implement ads on your site. The reason we can't support Wordpress.com is because Wordpress disallow any Javascript code added to their platform ( read their explanation about this) and Adgator code relies on Javascript to serve ads on a blog. We're trying to figure out a way to solve this problem but for now there's only one alternative to running Adgator ads...

The only alternative right now is to move your blog to your own domain - i.e. leave wordpress.com. Now before you say no ways baby it's important to note that this process is not complicated and Afrigator will happily assist you. In addition Afrigator is offering free hosting of a new Wordpress blog for you that you will have full control over. All we'll be in charge of is maintaining and upgrading the software as and when Wordpress releases a new version.

You will have full control over themes, plugins and the ability to run any Javascript code plus we'll assist you with the migration process from wordpress.com so that you don't lose any posts or comments along the way.

In addition, wordpress.com does have a feature to map your new blog domain to your current wordpress.com domain ( see this post) which means you won't lose out on traffic or search engine rankings either.
